Privacy Policy for Peptide Tracker
Last updated: July 12, 2026
Peptide Tracker ("the App") is developed by Venish Rakholia ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Summary
- Your health and protocol data (peptides, doses, schedules, metrics, side effects) is stored only on your device. We do not operate a server or account system, and we cannot see this data.
- We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes.
- We use RevenueCat to manage optional Premium subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
- We do not sell your data.
Information Stored Only On Your Device
The App uses Apple's SwiftData framework to store the following directly on your device, with no cloud sync or backup to our servers:
- Peptides, protocols, and dosing schedules you create
- Dose log entries (peptide, amount, method, injection site, date/time, notes)
- Custom peptide names you add
- Injection site preferences
- Body metrics you log (e.g. sleep, mood, weight, energy) and side effect entries
- App preferences (e.g. default dose method, reminder settings)
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself (see "Your Choices" below) or if it's included in an encrypted local device backup you create through iOS (e.g. iCloud/iTunes device backup, which is entirely managed by Apple, not us).
Information We Collect
Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics (a service provided by Google) to collect anonymized, aggregated usage data, such as:
- Which screens are viewed and how often (e.g. Home, Log, Protocols, Progress, Profile, Paywall)
- Which features are used (e.g. logging a dose, saving a protocol, adding a metric or side effect entry, completing onboarding)
- Subscription funnel events (e.g. viewing the paywall, starting a purchase, restoring purchases)
- General device/app information (e.g. device model, OS version, app version, approximate/coarse location derived from IP address, language)
This data is tied to an anonymous device/installation identifier, not to your name or any account, since the App has no account system. We do not send peptide names, dose amounts, metric values, or any other health content you enter to Firebase Analytics.
Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
If the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects a crash report to help us fix bugs, including:
- Device model, OS version, and app version
- The stack trace/technical state of the App at the time of the crash
Crash reports may occasionally include fragments of technical app state but are not designed to and should not contain your logged health data.
Subscription & Purchase Information (RevenueCat)
Premium features are offered as an optional subscription, purchased and processed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements (i.e., to check whether you have an active subscription). RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous app-user identifier
- Purchase/transaction and subscription status information from Apple (e.g. product purchased, renewal date, price)
We do not receive or store your payment details (card numbers, Apple ID password, etc.) — these are handled solely by Apple.
How We Use This Information
We use the information described above to:
- Understand which features are useful so we can improve the App
- Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs
- Determine whether you have an active Premium subscription so premium features unlock correctly
- Meet legal and App Store requirements
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with the service providers named above, each acting under their own privacy terms, solely to provide the analytics, crash-reporting, and subscription functionality described in this policy:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics) —
- RevenueCat —
- Apple (In-App Purchase processing) —
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Your Choices
- Export or delete your data: From Profile → Your Data, you can export your dose history as a CSV file via the iOS share sheet, at any time. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data, since nothing is backed up to our servers.
- Analytics: Because the App has no account system, there's no in-app analytics opt-out toggle at this time. You can limit ad/analytics tracking generally through your device's iOS Privacy settings.
- Notifications: Dose reminders are local notifications scheduled entirely on your device; you can disable them at any time in the App's settings or in iOS Settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
